Rodney has had over 30 years of learning, practicing, playing and recording and loves the drums more than ever. He has a real love for teaching. His patience and deep understanding of what it takes to develop the skills needed to play, at all levels, and coupled with the ability to clearly convey those ideas, make him a natural teacher. Truth be told, he loves teaching the drums as much as he loves playing the drums. With Drum Time Colorado, Rodney has dedicated his time to teaching on a full-time basis.

When I moved from NYC I would have never believed that I would have found a better drum teacher out here than I had studied with there, but it's true. Rodney listens to what his students want (style, strengths, weaknesses) and creates a specialized curriculum for each student. He is by far the most organized instructor I have ever had. Most importantly Rodney is able to translate his ability as an excellent drummer into being an excellent teacher, which is not always the case with great drummers. I highly reccomend Rodney to drummers of all levels because of his dedication to helping his students reach their own goals.
